I have a secret, never-fail method of keeping my kids out of my purse. I keep a bunch of receipts and church programs stuffed in there so they think it’s nothing but boring stuff. They never want to get in there. Sure, I could make a rule that they’re never allowed to dig in my purse unless I ask them to, and that rule does exist.
But why give them temptation? I actually do keep interesting things in my purse, like my game boy and my camera and mints and stuff. But it’s hidden down deep underneath the boring stuff. My oldest son used to love to dig through my purse until I hit upon this fabulous method. Now, all three of my kids think it’s nothing but reciepts and my wallet. Bahahaha! Little do they know how interesting it actually is, down in the depths.
