I’d heard rumblings all over the internet this week about Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, but I was totally uninterested. Finally yesterday my interest was piqued enough to go watch it and I am incredibly glad that I did. It’s a very well written mini-series. And yes, it’s a musical about a supervillain, but don’t let that scare you off. I don’t generally like musicals and I’m only marginally interested in superheroes and supervillains. This, however, was so filled with win and awesome that my normal prejudices against musicals were set aside.

The songs are great, the ending is a bit surprising, but not so surprising that it seems impossible. Go see it right now. Or see it sometime before midnight (EST) Sunday night, because after that you’ll only be able to buy it on DVD. And this is how much I like it- I haven’t bought a DVD in years, but I’ll be buying it on DVD.
