    Lazy Mama?

Angry_baby_headI don’t know why I keep using the angy baby head picture, except it amuses me so much. Here’s something that doesn’t amuse me, though, people assuming that because I’m not a morning person, I’m lazy.

Sarah at Ordinary Days has the same pet peeve, it seems:

OK, Big Boy’s teacher thinks I’m lazy and, even worse, she thinks I think it’s funny that I’m lazy and she enjoys joking with me about it.

It makes me want to pull my hair out and scream!!

But because I am a loser wussy who can’t initiate confrontation
to save my life (I hate making other people uncomfortable), all I do is
laugh a fake little laugh and try to change the subject.

Go on over to read the whole post. I completely understand her frustration. I used to know a woman who would call me at random times during the day and would ask, "Did I wake you up?" Lady, it’s noon on Tuesday and I have three kids. No, I was NOT asleep.

I have to go and check out the article. She should give me the teacher's number. I've been itching to tell someone/anyone off! You know, for the thrill of it ;)

My aunt always ask "Are you up?" every time she calls. That drives me crazy, too! Yeah, we SAHMs nap on the couch all day and occassionally wake up to shove a bon bon in our mouthss. Arrgh!
