The scariest thing for me as a mom is to think that my kids will experiment with drugs. I remember being around drugs when I was growing up but was paranoid about ever using them. My parents were lucky that I was afraid of just about everything. I knew that I would be the one that would have the heart attack on the first try, so I never tried them. well as their parents and teachers) on the science behind drug abuse.
NIDA enlisted the help of teens in developing the site to ensure that

I, unfortunately, have family members that have gotten into drugs and they have destroyed their lives.I have used them as examples for my children on what not to do. Hopefully they see what drugs can do to your life and choose not to ever do them. I will also use this website to educate myself in order to educate my children.
