Recently, my mother bought a Wii. For the first time in my entire family’s history, everyone in the family played a video game together- even my dad, who hasn’t played any video games since my brother and I smart-aleckily told him he was invincible and should run right through the goombas on Super Mario Brothers.
Wii sports is incredibly fun and even gets you a bit of exercise- depending on the game- there’s a bit more exercise in Wii Tennis than there is Wii Bowling, for example.
There are many other fun family games you can play and don’t have to have a Wii to play it. We have a PS2, and have found out that the whole family can have great fun playing Karaoke Revolution: American Idol. You don’t have to be a great singer to be able to play- they have various levels of judging. Now, if someone would just tell Flip that singing higher doesn’t mean singing louder.

I have been wanting to get the Wii for sometime now. Looks like it would be tons of fun. Right now we love playing guitar hero. I have to admit that I am addicted to that. I'm on a quest to not let my 4 year old out play me!
