I don’t normally go around sharing cute little stories of my kids, because it gets old, I know. But I did have to share this one. My daughter and son came running through the living room, she was wearing a cat mask and he was wearing a princess hat.

When I asked them what was going on, SpiderMan, the 3 year old, announced, "I’m the police!" Then HelloKitty told me, "Yeah, and I’m a cat burglar." I had to giggle, they were having such a fab time running around, playing cops and robbers just like I did when I was a kid, and just like my mom did when she was a kid. It was a happy reminder that some things never change.
