My daughter’s kindergarten teacher did a neat project with the kids where they made habitats for fish. Megs excitedly told me about how they made them, and she really learned a lot by making the fish habitats. I really love her kindergarten teacher, she has lots of neat ideas and really has made kindergarten special for my daughter.
Unfortunately, we had to bring the project home, and that’s where the problem lies. I have two fat cats who absolutely lurve to eat fish. They also fancy themselves Great Hunter Kitties, which means this is the perfect toy for them.
Explaining the predator/prey relationship was totally something I was getting around to teaching Megs, but so soon? Ay yi yi.
What do you think, am I making too big of a deal out of this?
