    Project Cuddle

    Bear
Have you ever thought about the money spent each year on gifts bought for special occasions?  Birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, teacher gifts, baby showers and the list goes on.  What if every time a gift was bought, a donation was given to a charity. The bloggers at Polka Dot Whale have found a really unique way to promote their cause and provide an adorable gift at the same time.

Polka Dot Whale has chosen to support Project Cuddle with every purchase made at their store. They believe it is important to…..

"celebrate the joy of birth and parenthood everyday, we also feel it is important in business to think of those in need."

Project Cuddle is a non-profit organization that aims to prevent infants from being abandoned. The money made from the sale of these bears paid for a new video featuring celebrities that educates school children about Safely Surrendered Baby Laws. They are providing expectant mothers with the information needed to make good decisions for themselves and their babies.

While reading about Project Cuddle, I really had to stop and think about how busy moms get and that everything we do is in a rush.  We tend to just grab a gift at the most convenient place at the last minute. I can’t help but think by just taking a little extra time and thought, we could actually help prevent an abandoned baby.
