If you’re like me, you just love when your child brings home new
"artwork". Over the years, though, I have really burnt out to having
pictures pasted all over my fridge so whenever my girls bring home things
they’ve made in school I hang it up on the walls of my office. I don’t need
wallpaper or paint as their creations cover most every wall. I dig the colors
and themes and most of all they know how proud I am of them when they see that
I’ve made their world a part of mine.
Not everyone has the luxury of a home office with blank walls to decorate
with their kids artwork so another suggestion is to take a picture of their
artwork with the camera on your cell phone and then use that picture as the
background for your phone’s display. Now, not every phone has this capability
but if yours does I sincerely hope you give it a try. They love it when I make
a big deal of taking a picture of their art and making it appear on my phone.
Then I have a piece of them with me all day.
Another option is what Momma Steph, from the MomSquawk
blog recommends; her pre-schooler is hooked!
"The virtual Jackson Pollock. Move your mouse to drip and
splatter, click to change colors."
I love this! Click
here and let your kid go wild with colors and lines and then take a picture
with your phone and alas….a fresh new piece of mobile art everyday.
