Every time some new home electronics gadget is released to the masses I often wonder, "What will they think of next?", and with the new iPhone product announcement from Apple, Inc., I can’t even begin to imagine.

Well, before I could even ask myself the question, technology has gone and done it again. According to Omar McFarlane, at Engadget,  baby is the new recipient of his/her own MP3 player. Evidently, Playskool and Creative have teamed up to create the "Made For Me" line of MP3 players.  Engadget explains,

"It comes preloaded with 50 songs, has a voice recorder, and can be used with other appropriately labeled "Made For Me" toys."

This product, conveniently, won’t be released until Fall of 2007; think Christmas.  For under $50.00 this may not be the ideal teething toy for your bundle of joy but it can certainly be "music to baby’s ears."
